The DSM

This is what it is like to be diagnosed by a psychiatrist using phrases from the DSM, which doesn’t work anyway. My psychological model provides phrases describing ‘normal’ behaviour so mental health care workers can start from there and then discover what is not normal in a patient.

This DSM phrase nonsense includes questions like:

“Are you ever suspicious?”.

“Do you ever hear voices?”.

Kind of weird questions to ask people out of the blue.
